El Papagayo
Cordoba, Argentina
Completed 2016
Applying Asian architectural practices of maximizing small and unusually laid-out spaces, Bedmar crafted this impeccable restaurant out of a long, narrow ‘alleyway’ space. The 32 x 2.4 metre main space
features materially offset walls on polished concrete and loose red brick, under a ‘ceiling’ compromised entirely of clear glass panels, and a floating loft-style private dining room hovers above one end. Truly a unique expression of the architectural impetus.
